We were on our way back to the Chicago burbs from Iowa and wanted to stop for some ice cream for the kids. Excellent customer service, my son and I both had the mackinaw chocolate fudge ice cream which was great and my wife had a cherry slushy which was extra sweet! Also, I like that they have a no smoking / vaping sign posted on their patio. Bathrooms were clean too. Great place!

The new owners have done so much here. Great ice cream selection and good food for decent prices.  Clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Always worth a stop! On our way there now on our way home from Madison.

Love the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce. Chili dog is tasty but you have to eat it with a fork and knife with tiny plastic utencils. The manager is always super nice and attentive. Ice cream is yummy. Try it!

What a find!  This business just opened in a location that was previously an ice cream shop, right on a corner on Main Street. They've remodeled and everything is modern and attractive and sparkling clean.  It still has wonderful ice cream with a very large selection of both favorites and unusual flavors. That said, I want to talk about the food!i The food was EXCEPTIONAL and we were all extremely happy. I was there with my 86 year old mom and 90 year old dad and they just loved it as well. My mom and I had cheeseburgers and they were so delicious they disappeared too fast. My mom kept talking about the hamburger bun which was fantastic (more like a bakery bun). You can tell the burgers are hand formed and they're cooked perfectly. My dad had a "hot dog" that was smothered in mac 'n cheese. It was amazing. The "hot dog" was more like a high quality sausage, thick and juicy. The mac 'n cheese was homemade and paired perfectly wit that dog. The owners mingled and made sure that everyone was happy and their staff went above and beyond.  I now live in Denver but I went to Pec High and Pecatonica was my home. My mom taught kindergarten there so we were very nostalgic about being back in town. We talked about how we wished a place like this had been around when we lived there! My very elderly parents and I agreed -- every time I come back to visit we will make the country drive to this awesome place. Check it out!
